So many things to say about Auntie Jen,

Strong, a fighter always there for you again & again,

I am so proud of her in so many ways,

There are so many memories, laughs & happy days.

When i was younger to the shops she'd send me on my way,

For cheese & onion crisps, beef from Braggs, i'd get sweets off her mate ..... what a day!

She loved her feet rubbed and if i stopped they would wriggle,

She knew it was annoying so would then start to giggle.

When i was cheeky i would stick out my chin,

She'd put me in my place and i could never win,

She taught me a lot, things i'll never forget,

Thanks for being YOU Jen, another one we'll never get.

Yes she loved animals, we shared a bond especially for Dogs,

You are up there with them all now Jen so am sure there are plenty of hugs!

So heartbreaking that you're actually gone,

But you're in my heart and will keep me strong.

Yes I am like nan and think i'm a poet,

Like you Jen, work hard, stubborn and love dogs dont you know it,

There's something else i would like to do,

Make my donation to Birmingham Dogs home,

As i know you would want ME too.

Although a little time has passed now,

The pain hasn't yet eased,

You'll always be with me Jen,

God bless now you're resting in peace.
